Internships

An internship experience at Oliver Quek & Associates is an opportunity to observe the practice of law at a close range and to gain a well-informed understanding of the profession before embarking upon it. You will come to realize that a career in law is challenging, stimulating and exciting. During your internship, you will work on live cases, observe client meetings and function as a full-fledged member of the firm. To make this experience complete, all we require from you is your open mind and your diligent attitude. We take interns all year round and from all across the globe. Thus far, we have had interns from jurisdictions as diverse as China, India, Ireland and the Philippines.

Practice Training Contracts

We offer practice training contracts under the mentorship of our supervising solicitor Mr Oliver Quek for law graduates who intend to qualify to the Bar in Singapore. You will receive training in the full-range of legal skills including client care and management, drafting, legal research, due diligence negotiation, advocacy and professional responsibility. You will be exposed to one civil litigation, corporate practice and other areas of practice. During your training period you will be paid a competitive monthly honorarium and will have access to the firm’s resources.
